What to expect
Before your appointment
We'll start with a consultation to make sure your treatment is the perfect fit for your skin!
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and self-tanner for at least 30 days
- Pause retinol and exfoliating acids about a week prior
- Tell us about any medications, skincare products, or recent treatments
During your appointment
Your experience depends on whether you're receiving BBL HEROic, MOXI, or both!
- You may feel a warm, prickly sensation
- Numbing cream may be used for added comfort
- Our estheticians walk you through every step
After your appointment
Your skin may look pink or feel warm. Darkening of pigment or a sandpaper-like texture for several days is all part of the process!

Treatments are typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on your plan.

How much downtime is there?
Downtime depends on the laser treatment! Some treatments have little to no downtime, while others may leave your skin feeling pink, warm, or a little flaky for a few days. We'll walk you through exactly what to expect and how to care for your skin afterward!
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Laser treatments aren't one-size-fits-all! Some lasers are better suited for certain skin tones than others. During your consultation, we'll evaluate your skin and determine the safest and most effective treatment options for you!
