What is a Brazilian?
A Brazilian removes all the hair in the bikini area, front to back, or leaves a strip or triangle if you prefer. We use a paste of sugar, lemon and water that's applied against the direction of growth and flicked off with it, so the hair comes out at the root instead of snapping.

What to expect
Before your appointment
Let the hair grow for two to three weeks. Exfoliate gently a day or two before, and skip lotion, oil and deodorant on the area the day of. Booked the numbing add-on? Arrive 10 minutes early so it has time to work.
During your appointment
Your esthetician cleanses the area, dusts it with powder, and works in small sections with warm sugar paste. A full Brazilian takes about 20 to 30 minutes. You can ask for a pause at any point.
After your appointment
Expect some pinkness for a few hours. For 24 hours, avoid hot tubs, saunas, heavy workouts, tight clothing and sun on the area so the open follicles can settle.
Between visits
Start gentle exfoliation after 48 hours and keep the skin moisturized to prevent ingrowns. Rebook every three to five weeks. The more consistent you are, the finer and sparser the hair grows back.

Which Brazilian do I book?
Pick Brazilian or Brazilian + Underarms, then the version that fits: New Client if it’s your first visit or 3+ months since your last sugar (we’ll take it slow), 3 Week Special if you come every three weeks (a special price for staying on schedule), or the regular appointment for everything in between.
Does sugaring hurt less than waxing?
Most clients say yes. Sugar paste doesn't stick to live skin and removes hair in the direction it grows, so there's less pulling on the skin and less breakage. The first visit is the most sensitive; it gets easier each time.
How long does the hair need to be?
About a quarter inch, which is roughly two to three weeks after your last shave. Ideally you want your hair about the size of a grain of rice.
Can I get sugared during my period?
Yes, with a fresh tampon or cup. Skin can be more sensitive in the days before and during, so some clients prefer to book a week later.
