What is Laser Hair Reduction?
Ready for less shaving and smoother skin? YES, PLEASE! Laser hair reduction uses light energy to target hair follicles during their active growth phase, gradually reducing unwanted hair growth. Since hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are needed for the best results!
Most clients need a series of 6–12 treatments, typically spaced 4–8 weeks apart depending on the area. Our goal is up to 80% hair reduction, but results vary depending on your hair type, skin tone, hormones, and treatment area. Occasional maintenance treatments may be needed to keep things smooth!

What to expect
Before your appointment
Shave the area 12 to 24 hours before your appointment.
- Don't sugar, wax or tweeze for four weeks
- Avoid sun and self-tanner for 30 days before beginning your LHR journey
During your appointment
Laser hair reduction is quick and easy!
- Smaller areas like underarms take just a few minutes; larger areas like legs take a little longer
- Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, warm snap against the skin
- We'll keep you as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment
After your appointment
A little redness or small bumps around the hair follicles are totally normal and typically settle within a few hours!
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, sweaty workouts, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours
- Don't forget your daily SPF on exposed areas
- You'll go home with all the aftercare instructions you need
Between visits
You'll typically notice treated hair beginning to shed around 2 weeks after your appointment!
- Shaving between treatments is totally fine
- Skip sugaring, waxing, and tweezing
- Staying consistent with your treatment schedule is key to the best results

Is it permanent?
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction, with many clients seeing up to 80% less hair after completing their recommended series! Results vary from person to person, and occasional maintenance treatments may be needed to keep things smooth!
Does it work on light or grey hair?
No. The laser targets pigment in the hair. Sugaring remains the better option for light, red or grey hair.
Can I sugar between sessions?
Not while you're doing laser hair removal! The laser needs the hair follicle intact to effectively target hair growth, so you'll want to skip sugaring, waxing, and tweezing between treatments. Shaving is totally fine, though!
