A professional-strength solution lifts the top layers of skin so fresh, even skin comes through. We match the strength to your goals, from no downtime to a few days of peeling.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliation. The solution loosens the bonds between dead skin cells so they shed, taking surface pigment and congestion with them, and signalling the skin to renew. Lighter peels brighten with no downtime; deeper peels treat sun damage, melasma and texture with a few days of visible peeling.

Your esthetician chooses the peel for your skin type and concern, and we don't go deeper than your skin is ready for.

Perfect for:

  • Dull, uneven tone and sun damage
  • Acne, breakouts and post-acne marks
  • Melasma and pigment, with a planned series
  • Fine lines and rough texture

What to expect

  1. Before your appointment

A consultation first. Pause retinol and exfoliating acids for five to seven days, avoid sun, and don't sugar or wax the face for a week.

  2. During your appointment

About 30 minutes. The skin is prepped, the solution is applied in layers while your esthetician watches your skin, then it's neutralized or left on to work, depending on the peel.

  3. After your appointment

Lighter peels: a glow, maybe light flaking. Deeper peels: tightness, then visible peeling from day two to day seven. No picking, no exfoliating, gentle cleanser, moisturizer and SPF only.

  4. Between visits

Most concerns respond best to a series of three to six peels, spaced two to four weeks apart depending on the strength.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will my face actually peel?

It depends on the strength. Lighter peels may flake a little or not at all. Deeper peels peel visibly for several days, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before you book.

Can I get a peel in summer?

Yes, with strict daily SPF and no sun exposure during the peeling days. For melasma, we may plan the series around your sun exposure.

How soon will I see results?

Brightness within a week of a light peel. Pigment and texture improve over a series.

I’ve been coming to The Sugar Hut for 15 years, so at this point I’m basically part of the furniture — but in a smooth, well-maintained kind of way. And that’s 100% thanks to Christy, who is nothing short of a sugaring superhero.
